We are looking for a dynamic colleague to our KYC Operations Team of Citi Commercial Banking department.

About the Team

Based on global Citi guidelines we initiate and maintain customer data in a global system for multiple countries including Western European countries, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania within EMEA. We also facilitate the work of relationship managers to ensure clients’ data are consistent and adherent to Global Policies and Anti-Money laundering standards.

The Business Support Unit Team provides continuous support for relationship managers in the mentioned countries and actively interacts to obtain update information required to complete customers’ data and documentation in global systems.
The position is located in Budapest and it provides great opportunity to use your English and Czech/Slovak/Romanian/Bulgarian language knowledge and to work with regional & local teams in a multinational environment.

What you’ll do:

You’ll conduct research and analysis, review documents, and asses global and country specific AML related checklists. The role’s focal point will be supporting Citi’s KYC/AML framework.

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
• Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with local regulation and Citi standards
• Update KYC forms and client profiles according to policy requirements
• Maintain great relationship with clients and business to ensure information is received before due dates, and manage complex structured group relationships
• Perform KYC/AML tasks, including monitoring and tracking of the KYC records and Appendix approval process, assisting with the development and execution of action planning for expiring records, and ensuring records are not past due.
• Be the point of contact for the stakeholders

Ideal background:

• Fluent English language knowledge is a must
• Czech, Slovak,Bulgarian or Romanian language skill is a great advantage
• College/University Degree in Law/Public Administration/ Business/Finance/Economics
• 1-3 years of experience in AML and KYC area
• Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame
• Proficient user of MS programs
• Excellent ability to pay attention to details and work under pressure
• Excellent written communication and time management skills
• Strong problem solving and research skills
