Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Finance Manager, you will be a partner with the finance team to the Russellville Plant and Supply Chain Finance. You will perform complex financial analysis for assigned areas and present recommendations to management. Responsibilities include Finance, Cost Accounting, General Accounting, and Financial Systems. Be a leader to less experienced staff. Lead small teams and work well with small ad-hoc project teams across the plant.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with others in the department on communication of weekly and monthly variances of labor, yield loss, materials usage, product costs, and overhead expense.
  • Contribute to the monthly forecast and the annual financial planning process including preparation, recommendations and strategies
  • You will contribute to month end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues promptly, review of variances, reporting and journal entry coordination.
  • You will partner with Continuous Improvement and Operations teams to identify cost savings projects across the plants.
  • Provide financial analysis for new projects and capital requests.
  • Assist team with financial and internal control audits.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related degree required.
  • 5+ years general business and financial experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups and other data manipulation formulas).
  • Experience with SAP and data visualization tools.
  • Experience forecasting business expenses.
  • Experience identifying areas for continuous improvement and making recommendations for enhancement
  • Experience consolidating complex information into usable customer oriented formats
