Position Summary...

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you'll do...

Supervise and direct processes for the export of Optical merchandise to foreign countries by leading cross functional collaboration to receive, process and ship orders to be exported; overseeing the creation of all commercial invoicing and packing list documentation to ensure uninterrupted transportation to country of destination; and facilitating communication throughout the supply chain to resolve order, shipping or documentation issues.

Supervise and direct processes for the import of Optical merchandise from foreign countries by providing direction and feedback on transportation methods used to import products; and working cross functionally with Global Sourcing and the Buying and the Replenishment team on product and packaging issues.

Supervise and direct processes for inspection of diverted goods in the Optical supply chain by leading and directing the second authentication process with the field team to expedite authentication and receiving process at the DC; driving the flow of inbound and outbound diverted goods product; and ensuring all compliance requirements are met through the on-site authentication process.

Serve as a liaison with the Optical replenishment, lab management, and buying teams on supply chain operational initiatives by engaging each US Optical Lab in face to face meetings as needed, but no less than once a year, to review the delivery performance and customer service expectations of each lab; partnering with Optical Replenishment and buying teams to develop a strategy for product flow during modular changes at the Vision Center level; partnering with the Optical Replenishment team to ensure manual product pushes are coordinated and aligned so they are processed in the most efficient manner possible to maximize productivity and minimize quality defects; communicating supplier delivery performance to Optical Replenishment and buying teams in addition to addressing performance issues in a timely manner so they can be corrected; and meeting with suppliers directly at the facility to outline supply chain issues and needed corrective actions.

Manage financial aspects for the facility by approving and tracking expenses compared to budget; monitoring asset utilization; and preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports.

The annual salary range for this position is $89,500.00-$192,500.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 3 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising,evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 5 years experience in a senior management role as an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide.
