As the Strategic Accounts Manager, you contribute to Cat Financial’s sales volume goal achievement and profitability objectives by developing relationships with Caterpillar & Dealer Strategic Accounts Teams and Strategic Accounts Customers. You will identify financial needs in the Strategic Accounts segment and develop corresponding financial solutions to finance new, used, and services sales.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate the sale of Caterpillar products through Caterpillar dealers with assigned customer base and territory. Includes working with end users, dealers, and Caterpillar partners to develop solutions to fit the customer’s unique needs.
  • Develop deep relationships with dealer Strategic Accounts through proactive account planning and execution, which includes understanding of capital budget requirements, decision making process and accounting criteria.
  • Account management activity including ongoing relationship maintenance, periodic review of asset utilization versus contract obligation, assessing competitive landscape, and strategic alignment with enterprise partners. 
  • Analyzing company profile and its operations to develop and align the marketing strategies with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conducting market/competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Establishing metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.
  • Maintaining effective internal communications with other departments (e.g. Credit, Portfolio and Sale Support teams) to ensure alignment on customer satisfaction.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g., vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers).

Salary: £60,433 - £78,563
Contract: Permanent.
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours.
