Internship Software Engineer (UI) - Flutter UK&I, Hybrid

Software Engineer Intern 1

What you are going to do: 

You are a dedicated, self-motivated, driven technical graduate who works in a team of engineers developing for and feature-improving highly available products using technologies like React, TypeScript, Angular, CSS3, HTML5 and other emerging technologies. 

The intern role is involved in the full software lifecycle, works closely with our scrum teams and can make a real impact from day one. We'll give you the time and support to build up your skills and keep progressing. 

 

Core technical competencies: 

  • Build knowledge of new approaches, as well as development and testing technologies related to the UI domain 

  • Learn about relevant industry technologies and get to grips with the complex interactions between them 

  • Get familiar with secure coding principles and technical design principles (e.g. scalability, reliability, high-availability) 

Software development, continuous improvement and QA for developers: 

  • Take ownership of tasks as you work through them with assistance and support (when you need it) 

  • Strengthen your skills in your primary programming language 

  • Focus on your own development through on-the-job experience and actively seeking learning opportunities 

  • Get involved in discussions about how we can improve the UX/UI of our products, our services and processes in your domainyou'll be able to articulate why continuous improvement is so important in technology 

  • You'll work towards understanding software testing and quality assurance, as well as implementing UI unit tests 

Architecture for developers: 

  • Demonstrate basic components modeling and interaction knowledge 

  • Show an awareness of reusability techniques (e.g. design patterns, library extraction, new component creation)
