Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and resolving any technical glitches that may arise. Your expertise in incident management will be essential in maintaining the stability and reliability of the systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement. - Investigate and diagnose incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations. - Document and maintain incident records, including root cause analysis and preventive measures. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring their issues are resolved effectively. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to incident management. - Assist in the development and implementation of incident management processes and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Incident Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Service Integration and Management (SIAM), Infrastructure Service Management. - Strong understanding of ITIL incident management principles and best practices. - Knowledge of incident management tools and ticketing systems. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents simultaneously. - Experience in conducting incident post-mortems and implementing preventive measures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Incident Management. - This position is based in Noida. - A Graduate or above degree is required.
