Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Global Services Maintenance Engineering organization is seeking one Support Engineering Technical Manager in Saint Louis, MO.  This role will focus on overseeing the development of all domestic and international F-15 technical publication deliveries, developing new product offerings and strategies to capture additional business, and successfully managing, developing, and motivating a team of employees.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
  • Manages employees performing activities related to Support Engineering Data development.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience leading and organizing deliverables to meet deadlines with minimal direction
  • 1+ Experience as a leader or manager
  • 3+ years of experience working with military aircraft
  • Experience with technical data authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, Adobe Framemaker.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods
  • Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
  • 1+ years of experience in building business cases in support of IT investments.
