Accenture is looking for an experienced Deskside Support Engineer to join our expanding team and work on one of our customer sites based in London (onsite).

To be considered for this role you should have at least 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
 

As a Service Desk Engineer, you will:

  • Act as an onsite point of contact for our user base.

  • Taking ownership of customer issues ensuring the tickets are resolved within a timely manner.

  • Troubleshooting Hardware issues including, Laptops, Desktops, Monitors, Docking stations, Mobile Phones and Printers.

  • Manage escalations from the Help desk remote team.

  • Capturing all interactions and ticket resolutions within our ticketing system Service Now to aid trending and service improvements.

  • Contribute to the Knowledge-base when new work instruction or fixes are identified. in our ticketing tool to be customer specific or generic.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Knowledge of Insurance market Applications such as Global XB, OpenTwins, Whitespace, Lexis Nexis.

  • Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft365, Exchange, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.

  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft365 Products (Outlook, OneDrive, Words etc)

  • Experience building devices using Intune and conducting user Onboarding/Offboarding.

  • Experience with AV and Teams Meeting Room Support.

  • Mimecast administration knowledge.

  • Microsoft or any other IT Certifications.

Set yourself apart:

  • Working knowledge of Service Now, Adobe products and DocuSign

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS) is an important asset.

  • PowerShell

  • Working knowledge of IT Security best practices.

  • Experience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) Process

  • Working for an organisation within the Insurance Sector.
