At Geico, our success is no secret - it's the result of investing in exceptional individuals. We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the Strategic Partnerships team focused both on Personal Auto Insurance Partnerships as well Commercial Insurance Partnerships.

Your priorities will be a mix of Business Development, Continuous Product improvement, Partnership Management, and Insurance fundamental management. As Strategic Partnerships Leader, you will direct the overall integration and interaction of a project to bring GEICO products to a new market or external partners into GEICO’s marketplace and manage the external relationship through launch and successful integration as well as assisting in the formal negotiations of a contractual agreement with external parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies new external partnerships that fit the acquisition strategy(s) for different lines of business.

  • Develops a method of doing business with sourced partners through coordination and collaboration with multiple departments such as: IT, Pricing/Product, Marketing, CRM, and Financials.

  • Attracts partnerships through Business Development presentations and discussions with an external partner.

  • Values new business opportunities and budgets appropriately for costs.

  • Assists in the formal negotiations of a contractual agreement with external parties in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

  • Directs the overall integration and interaction of a project to bring GEICO products to a new market or external partners into GEICO’s marketplace and manages the external relationship through launch and successful integration.

  • Coordinates and maintains communication with technical groups (IT, Product, Marketing) to enhance products and offerings to attract and enhance current external partnerships and customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 8+ years in a business development and product role.

  • High level experience partner relationships building external partnerships.

  • Background in Personal Insurance, Commercial Insurance or Auto Makers a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with leaders and employees at various levels.

  • Demonstrated track record of using data to provide insights that guide business decisions.

Annual Salary

$111,000.00 - $207,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
