It ensures the performance, functionality, and reliability of these services by simulating real user interactions and running automated tests, across the world.

By joining our Synthetics Worker team, you'll become part of a dynamic, multicultural group dedicated to developing the core engine responsible for running millions of API and browser tests per day. This engine is the backbone of our product, emphasizing reliability, resilience, and maintainability. As a team member, you will be involved in the development of every new capability added to our product and collaborate closely with product, backend, and frontend teams.

To maintain the trust we’ve built with our many customers, you will need to be adept at building robust, well-architected, and error-resilient solutions. Given the complexity and vastness of the web and API landscape, you’ll need a strong appetite for learning, staying ahead of the curve, and investigating user issues.

What You’ll Do: 

• Develop new engine capabilities used worldwide by our customers, taking ownership of new features from initial design to operation in production.
• Collaborate closely with the product, backend, and frontend teams to deliver a best-in-class Synthetic Testing & Monitoring product.
• Consistently enhance our engine to make it more robust, maintainable, and resilient.
• Address customer feedback reported by our Technical Support Engineers

Bonus Points:

• You have significant experience in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• You are familiar with testing automation tools such as Puppeteer
• You have experience in Browser Extension development
• You keep yourself up-to-date regarding web standards, protocols, and JavaScript ecosystem
