As a Senior Manager for the Rx Portfolio Growth & Analytics team, you will sit within the Pharmacy Growth business unit of our Retail Pharmacy at CVS Health.

You will assist with key analytical insights to drive business decisions across the retail pharmacy business. You will accomplish this through financial and operational modeling, forecasting of prescription trends, supporting the creation/maintenance of analytics dashboards and widely circulated existing content, and building effective presentations for executive leadership. You will conduct analyses at varying degrees of granularity, developing script-level, patient-level, and economic insights to understand trends in relation to CVS Health’s strategy.

To support the diverse body of work, you will provide positive leadership for a team of at least one. A contagious, growth mindset is imperative to succeed in this role.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Build the annual CVS Retail script budget (1.6B+ scripts) through analytical modeling; work across departments to understand drivers and key changes
  • Craft regular reforecasts, risk & opportunity modeling, and ongoing trends analysis
  • Analyze prescription trends and develop an understanding of drivers for the business, performing ad-hoc research independently and through 3rd party vendors and partners when necessary
  • Support the development of data and analytics tools using SQL, Excel, Tableau, and other data representations
  • Build highly articulate and quality presentations with cohesive messaging for management; present applicable insights gathered from data to senior level executives
  • Increase the broader economic understanding of Retail Pharmacy’s script volume tendencies and trend implications
  • Stay informed about new topics within the pharmaceutical industry, incorporating data sources to meet our requirements and support a variety of goals
  • Lead the team responsible for script retention measurement of select retail store activities, supporting ever-evolving disruptive initiatives and workstreams


Required Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated business trends and analysis experience (e.g., data analysis, forecasting, reporting development)

5+ years of advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

3+ years of experience working with data using technical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Access, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications

Strong project management skills and proven ability to influence partners and executives

• Previous experience assessing and building business cases to identify areas of growth

Previous consulting, analytics, or related experience

Competencies such as teamwork and creative problem management


Education

Bachelor’s degree required and/or equivalent work experience 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
