We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-minded Escrow Assistant to join our growing team in Denver, CO. Responsibilities

As an Escrow Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the escrow process and ensuring smooth real estate closings. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain closing files, including contracts, title commitments, tax certificates, and HOA documents
  • Order and track payoffs, assumptions, HOA documents, and other required information
  • Draft, prepare, and proof escrow documents, ensuring accuracy of legal descriptions, signatures, notary stamps, and figures
  • Prepare receipts for all funds received and assist with wire transfers
  • Assemble and return loan packages to lenders
  • Coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys to provide excellent customer service
  • Send opening letters, acknowledgments, and introduction emails to all parties
  • Assist Escrow Officer with disbursements, policy preparation, and file completion
  • Manage builder folders, keys, and buyer gifts for closings
  • Perform file cleanout and post-closing tasks, including scanning, uploading, and mailing required documents
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a professional manner
  • Provide support for remote market closings, applying detailed attention to market-specific rules, practices, and documentation requirements
  • Other duties as assigned to support the escrow team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Prior experience in escrow, title, or real estate transactions a plus
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, particularly in recognizing and applying nuanced differences between multiple markets
  • Ability to learn new software systems and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills

Hourly pay range: $21.63 – $26.44 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications with potential for performance-based bonuses.
