Job Summary: The Graduate Engineer will support the design and manufacturing engineering team in various projects and tasks. This role is designed to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in engineering and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects. Provide support in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, solve problems, and improve manufacturing processes. Prepare reports and presentations based on findings.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
  • Technical Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to support manufacturing goals and objectives.
  • Training: Participate in training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge in manufacturing engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
