Rate of Pay:               $106,286.00 - $145,590.00 per year

Duties:                        

  • Develop clear definition for projects to meet customer requirements and internal goals.
  • Work closely with functional stakeholders such as marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop necessary contractual material (SOW, Quality requirements, etc.) in support of the assigned projects.
  • Manage the bounding box, schedule, scope, budget to ensure individual projects stay on track and within budgetary commitments.
  • Evaluate project risks continually and take appropriate mitigating actions.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day project activities, priorities, meetings, and communications ensuring alignment across all project or cross functional teams, while optimizing performance at a project level.
  • Ensure the project is developed in compliance with specified internal ADI, customer, or industry standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure post-release lessons learned activities for the project are completed.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to guide a product from design to release using tools such as version control systems and issue trackers.

Requirements:                 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience as a Product Engineer or related occupation interpreting characterization data and ensuring alignment with product requirements and specifications. Alternatively, may have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience as a Product Engineer or related occupation interpreting characterization data and ensuring alignment with product requirements and specifications.

Skills:

Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) managing AEC-Q100 Automotive product development and qualifications;
  • DE managing complete power development life cycle, from initial design phases to mass-production release, including the day-to-day executions at both internal and external Fabrication, Assembly, Probe and Final Test vendors using new product development flow and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SAP, and Workfront;
  • DE developing, quantifying, and releasing semiconductor power products, such as Buck-Boost Converters, Controllers, Low-Dropout Regulators, Boost, and Buck regulators, and using the Exensio Yield and Data tool, SEDana, and CorL8 to effectively determine production limits and optimize product performance;
  • DE using hardware and software of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and Handler such as ETS364, LTX8080, J750, FLEX Teradyne, Rasco SO1000, MT9510, MT9928 and Tel P8 on the Device Under Test (DUT); and
  • DE applying Eight Disciplines (8D) methodology to assess and propose modifications to electrical specifications or manufacturing processes for existing product datasheets, and ensuring compliance with the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Production Change Notice (PCN) customer notification system.
