EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior Recruiter for our corporate office in Columbia, MO (or remote), to support our team as the department continues to grow.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • This role will report directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition.
  • Proactively seeks out talent through passive sourcing channels i.e. LinkedIn & Indeed.
  • This candidate will be relentless with sourcing and screening top talent, talent mapping, building proactive pipelines and will act as a market expert within our industry. 
  • This candidate will be operating in a leadership capacity overseeing either a business vertical i.e. Tooling, Telematics, Advanced Solutions or General Manager recruiting.
  • They will work to continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and implement technology that will help us scale the hiring needs of the business. 
  • Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications and will demonstrate strong client management skills.
  • Post job descriptions on relevant platforms - Greenhouse, Indeed, LinkedIn
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
  • Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation
  • Help to maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, and other designations
  • Must collaborate with other Talent team members and onboarding team to finalize offer process
  • Consistently ensure that recruiting practices are in compliance with current legal standards
  • Collaborate with team on future hiring processes and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Five or more years of experience in recruiting or equivalent work experience i.e. Human Resources, Sales, or Operations.
  • Three or more years working directly with executive level leaders. 
  • Strong skills in sourcing passive candidates
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods including boolean searches
  • Familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for HR
  • Past experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Grayscale, Indeed/Glassdoor and Workday preferred
  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and knowledge of HRIS systems
  • Experience in developing recruitment strategy
  • Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities
