KMCRI-AdministrationJob Duties Outlined:
Provide program support and coordination to the Associate Director for Education for the Cancer Center which includes:
Maintaining information in databases related to KU Cancer Center educational grant initiatives.
Scheduling and coordinating meetings for Cancer Center education program leadership.
Supporting summer high school program which requires accepting applications, communicating with mentors and students, reserving meeting space, scheduling meetings, coordinating paperwork, ensuring payment to mentors and students, and coordinating poster forum.
Facilitating surveys for tracking faculty and trainees and evaluating programs.
Facilitating interactions with other education programs
Coordinating high school outreach.
Coordinating visits to area undergraduate and minority serving institutions.
Coordinating cancer workforce equity presentations

Required Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree plus two years related work experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant post-secondary education and work experience that equals 4 years.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree.
Skills:
Healthcare or oncology experience and/or education experience.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively work in multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with moderate direct supervision and multitask.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
