About the role:

As a valued member of our call center, the Financial Services Account Associate Senior supports the company in delivering a positive customer experience in a metric driven environment. You are responsible for activities related to customer contact and shareholder servicing. You help to protect the best interests of our client by handling customer inquiries and resolving complex issues, completing account maintenance and processing transactions for mutual fund account holders and financial professionals. 

About the team:

Our Customer Service Team is part of the Capital Markets group and includes 100+ associates who work in multiple locations and are well trained with a desire to provide superior customer service.


What you will be doing:

  • Answer and process routine to complex customer requests and inquiries, resolves customer concerns/problems and contributes to the resolution of escalated issues by offering solutions within scope of work via inbound or outbound phone calls.
  • You will identify customer's current and future needs to proactively enhance the customer experience.
  • Actively identify opportunities that contribute to the satisfaction of service and operations goals through workflow, productivity, and quality prioritization.
  • Communicate with customers by telephone, fax, email or letter, whichever method is most appropriate.
  • Actively promote new/existing products and services.
  • Acts as a subject matter resource to colleagues and on projects. 
  • Business process improvement activities.

What you will need:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication.
  • Ability to productively handle inbound telephone calls and meet performance goals.
  • Ability to multi-task using various systems to address customer needs.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with global/other teams.
  • Detail-oriented and high regard for deadlines and deliverables. 
  • Problem Solving and customer resolution skills  
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Investment industry or financial services experience desired  
  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
