Freese and Nichols Inc., is looking for an Biller with experience in project-related billings for either our Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin or San Antonio locations. 

Job Description

  • Respond to internal/external clients and vendors in a timely manner
  • Ensure billing processes, procedures and guidelines are followed in day-to-day activities.
  • Assist in the review, development and implementation of billing processes, as assigned.
  • Review project setup for compliance with prime agreements compensation terms before a project's initial invoice
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of client invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Effectively manage Unbilled WIP for assigned projects
  • Perform basic investigation into billing questions and issues utilizing BST inquiries and self service reporting.
  • Responsible for the association of sub-consultant invoices for payment upon client payment.
  • Review and approve expense reports per expense guidelines. Recognize and resolve issues.
  • Review subconsultant contracts per FNI guidelines.
  • Flexibility in managing multiple tasks.
  • Prioritize and complete accounting tasks within functional area
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in billing or accounting function.
  • Microsoft Excel Experience

Preferred

  • Professional services firm billing experience preferred.
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry
