eBay, Inc. seeks Manager, Software Development 2 in San Jose, CA 

Job Duties: Lead a team of dedicated engineers for both Android and iOS. Define and execute the product strategy, business strategy, operation plan, and detailed roadmap. Execute a comprehensive roadmap to deliver high quality feature improvements and new products that provide value to eBay’s customers. Build and implement quality software deliverables with Engineering, QE, and Release teams. Own team deliverables and ship high quality, maintainable software. Run team Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives. Drive a culture of quality, customer-centricity, scalability, and reliability. Work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical, user, and business worlds. Aggregate information from various places and build links with our key partners to get the information needed. Build collaborative and inclusive teams by mentoring and guiding the development of the team in a tailored, empathetic manner suited for each individual. Utilize knowledge of and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, architecture and native mobile release needs. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.            Experience designing and developing large enterprise iOS applications using iOS SDK, XCode, Objective C, Swift, and GIT (5 years).

2.            Experience delivering complex e2e initiatives (3 years).

3.            Experience leading teams that have delivered experiences using Swift, SwiftUI and Kotlin for medium to large-scale enterprise apps on the App store and Google Playstore (3 years).

4.            Experience managing high performance mobile engineering teams working on iOS and Android development (3 years).

5.            Experience working with large cross-functional teams to define and execute the product strategy, business strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap (3 years).

6.            Experience building and leading customer centric features following the right U/X design paradigms that ensure customer satisfaction and engagement (3 years).

7.            Experience collaborating with cross functional and cross domain stakeholders to roll out big initiatives (3 years).

Salary: $226,158.00-262,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
