  • Role title: Senior People Partner

  • Role type: 12-month max term contract.  Full time

  • Role grade: Health Service Manager 3

  • Department and location: People and Culture, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst

  • Salary: $122,850 - $139,599 + super + salary packaging

About the role

  • Strategic HR Partner: Align HR initiatives with St Vincent's people and culture strategy, partnering with the business on key projects and organisational change

  • People and Performance Culture Champion: Drive a high-performance culture by providing expert advice on P&C matters, including IR/ER, OD, and talent acquisition and retention

  • Policy and Compliance Expert: Ensure adherence to awards, agreements, accreditation standards, and legislation by advising on policy application and supporting employee relations matters

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize P&C data to inform strategic decisions and develop effective people strategies

  • Employee Experience and Development: Deliver high-quality onboarding and development programs, coordinate reward and recognition initiatives, and facilitate the implementation of P&C programs like staff engagement surveys and DE&I initiatives

About you

  • People and Culture Expertise: Demonstrated experience in organisational design, ER advice, and building strong relationships with stakeholders

  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering outcomes through effective communication and stakeholder engagement

  • Innovative Mindset: A passion for driving improvement and finding innovative solutions

  • Organisational Savvy: Strong understanding of the local campus environment and its nuances.

  • Industry Experience: Experience in a similar role in the healthcare or related sector, desirable not mandatory

In this role you will be based at St Vincent’s hospital, Darlinghurst.

  • Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health
