You Are:

A Technology Strategy guru with extensive experience in creating technology-led business strategies and top-flight leadership and management skills. You are expected to answer questions such as ‘How will Gen AI or AI disrupt my business model?’, ‘How can businesses use data and analytics to create highly-personalised outreach?

Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven technology strategies to transform their business operations or business model so they can exceed their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You are a curious leader who can connect with and advise senior clients through storytelling and strong domain knowledge. As a senior manager, you will be a coach to develop our up-and-coming leaders in their careers, and an orchestrator of our diverse multi-disciplinary workforces to solve our client’s challenges. You will contribute to Accenture’s Tech Strategy intellectual capital, defining industry leading thinking, contributing to the Practice Area development and helping build Accenture’s brand as a digital leader.

The Work:                

  • Assess clients’ business options in the context of global, industry, economic, technology, and social trends.

  • Day to day delivery leader on short high impact strategies (why, how, value, and approach) for our client’s senior teams (SVP to C-suite); leading small teams of motivated generalists and deep specialists

  • Manage and oversee the definition of the practices, processes, toolsets, and operations for one or more transformation domains, owning delivery of engagements end-to-end

  • Executive oversight and client relationship management of diverse delivery teams working with mid-level clients

  • Identify, orchestrate, and drive new sales opportunities with Managing Director Support (incremental and new)

  • Ensure clients are positioned for long-term success with practical road maps for carrying out Digital, IT or Cloud strategy, managing change, monitoring and gauging processes, and taking remedial steps.

  • Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create strategic solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations.

  • Build relationships with clients to raise Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner

  • Fortify Accenture’s Technology Strategy practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and external.

  • Lead projects that deliver world-class business technology strategy solutions.

  • Mentor junior members of the strategy team and position them for future growth.

  • Provide upfront strategic thinking and framework and develop / implement new strategic frameworks that are centered on the needs of both business and technology

As a Senior Manager you will:

  • Be able to manage complex or multiple projects or major workstream, driving overall team deliverables while supervising and mentoring team members

  • Lead the implementation of technology strategies and roadmaps as well as work with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions

  • Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience

  • Build strong relationships with senior executive clients (C-level and above) that extend beyond individual projects, including to develop C-suite relationships; drive a spirit of collaboration and teaming with client while serving as a true trusted advisor

  • Drive thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts with targeted input from more senior colleagues

  • Identify and advance ideas for new business opportunities

  • Lead to drive business development by provide effective guidance in developing proposals and SOWs with the support of a leadership

  • Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams across different knowledge domains such as Operating model, Cloud strategy, Data & Analytics, and Value architecture & Realization.

  • Proactively seek out and use existing frameworks while developing frameworks, all while articulating business impacts and applying a perspective that drives business and technology value

  • Provide thought leadership on technology trends and best practices in various dimensions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of strategy experience at a strategy or consulting firm

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in at least 2 of the example offerings (Cloud Transformation, Industry & New Technology, Technology ROI/Cost Take Out, Operating Model, Modern Architecture, Data-Driven Enterprise

  • Minimum 10 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing large teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations

  • Curiosity about technology and its influences on business and work

  • Experience advising senior leaders and leading small high impact teams

  • You have built trusted relationships with senior leaders at client organizations

  • Desire to coach and mentor others

  • You have top-notch communication (written and oral) and people skills

  • You have broad, diverse experience and knowledge of major technologies (legacy to emerging)

  • Comfortable in driving or supporting origination of deals

  • Ability to travel

  • Have an outstanding academic track record from a leading university

  • You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
