Team/Role Overview
Operations play a central role in driving value for the firm as well as its clients. It provides a foundation that enable Citi to achieve its day-to-day operational and its long-term growth goals.
The mission of the Operations MCA Governance organization in Citi is to support the identification, assessment, and management / mitigation of risk across the business group. Within the organization, the MCA Execution Analytics Team is responsible for providing actionable MCA program reports in support of the MCA standards.
This position will report to the Operations MCA Execution Analytics Lead and will help develop and execute ad hoc and scheduled reports for MCA, working closely with other MCA Governance teams to ensure effective MCA performance. The position requires a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both Operational and Compliance risk stripes as well as current MCA requirements and activities.
What you’ll do
Develop and implement consistent MCA reporting across the Operations MCA teams to support consent order MCA objectives including correct MCA process utilization and data quality that provides risk management consistency.
Provide monthly, quarterly, annual (and ad-hoc, as needed) risk and control reporting to identify overall control efficacy; determine areas of opportunity and drive change through automation and simplification.
Acquire procedural implementation, controls and change management process within reporting teams to ensure proper governance and controls exist.
Analyze reporting exceptions to identify inconsistencies or any process, procedure or technology changes needed to adhere to MCA standards.
Aggregate, analyze, and validate process outcomes and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders on required revisions – to ensure the consistent quality of MCA Reports.
Partner with technology teams to define reporting requirements for ongoing enhancements of the process tools.
Build user-friendly self-serve reporting tools, repositories, and websites using every-day technology.
Prepare presentation materials for review by Senior Management.
What we’ll need from you
Bachelor’s/University degree in relevant field.
6+ years’ work experience in risk or related control discipline (e.g., Risk Management, Reporting, Financial Control, Audit, Operations, etc.) Understanding of the MCA risk function and processes is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Access required, familiarity with Tableau, Business Objects, MicroStrategy and Cognos is preferable. Experience building and implementing models.
Quick learner with excellent communication skills in English, ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization and locations and directly or indirectly manage others.
Self-motivated individual who can take initiative and work independently.
Ability to work with management to understand information needed and translate that into reporting solutions.
Strong relationship management skills.
