WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

This role is a member to the Footwear Strategic Sourcing team. In this role, you will be contributing to a comprehensive sourcing strategy. You will be reporting to a director and helping manage sourcing strategies over multiple horizons and complexities. Your work will include scenario planning, analyzing tradeoffs and optimization opportunities, standardizing business processes, and creating the future of Nike Footwear Sourcing. This work is not done in a silo! You will be closely collaborating with Geographies, Supply Planning, Product Development & Innovation, manufacturing, internal analytics teams, counterparts in Asia, as well as factory partners. This is an individual contributor position.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Sr. Sourcing Analyst who is passionate about building for the future of footwear sourcing with out-of-the-box thinking and a proactive approach to operational challenges. You will manage multiple workstreams and drive insights into actions by partnering with cross-functional partners. You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring a self-starter attitude that is excited to work on sourcing and operational challenges to achieve a shared vision.

The ideal candidate will provide a proactive approach to bring multiple stakeholders together and thrives in a cross -functional environment. This role is perfect for a teammate with supply chain, product or manufacturing experience with exceptional communication skills. Having the ability to influence, collaborate, and create consensus is a must.

You will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain or a related field
  • 5+ years’ work experience in supply chain or related capacity in a manufacturing, trading, or consumer goods industry
  • 2 years’ additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Strategic thinking and enterprise mindset
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to see opportunity and generate solutions.
  • Self-motivated, with strong sense of accountability, resourcefulness, and drive. A ready mindset for continual process improvement and automation
  • Strong communication skills, specifically with influencing and storytelling
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a strong sense of self-motivation and urgency
  • Proficiency with data automation and reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheets) to support the development of innovative analytics and reporting

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

 In this role, you will collaborate with multiple internal cross functional teams & external manufacturing factory partners to ensure sourcing strategy and plans are created, aligned and executed to enable the footwear products to be made and delivered to the consumer, with a sharp focus on responsiveness sourcing. You will also provide sourcing expertise to ensure the critical cross functional projects to be effectively sourced and implemented. In addition, you will be assigned to drive continuous sourcing process improvements. 

The role entails:

  • Executing the Greater China Responsive sourcing strategy
  • Drive the seasonal Greater China responsive sourcing collaboration and alignment & seasonal product selection process
  • Key member of the Greater China responsive core team and act as the sourcing expert in process, timelines, & discipline for Greater China requests
  • Be on point or as project lead for certain process enhancements related to Greater China responsive
  • Provides support to other innovation sourcing activities
  • Contributes to best practices in processes and operating models
