About the business:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Act as first contact person for SAP Q notifications in the BU HV – Support local units how to create Q notification in line with the BU guideline. Support on creation of the BU guideline, Follow up on issues and closure, implementation of legacy failure Database and analyze data and create reports on periodic basis and support in creation of BU Guidelines and train the global/local units on demand.

 

Your responsibility:

  • Harmonization of SAP catalogues for all products produced in the BU High Voltage.

  • Check randomly new Quality notifications on data quality and support QM creator in maintaining in Q notifications to meet the BU requirements in line with SAP Database & Legacy failure Database.

  • Support local units as first point of contact for any QN deviations.

  • Responsible for analyzing data, responding to queries and create response reports as well as few standard reports on regular basis (yearly, once in six months) for major product line of HV.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical /Mechanical).

  • 5 + years of experience in Quality roles and/or Operations and/or Project Management.

  • Knowledge on statistics, data management & reliability could be plus.

  • Proficient in understanding Quality processes and concepts. 

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take up and lead new challenges.

  • Prior relevant Industry experience, knowledge of Quality Management, reliability methodologies and concepts.

  • Proficient in MS-Office & SAP preferably in Quality Module 

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving techniques and ability to work out of offshore/remote locations. 

  • Agile response to the changing Business requirements Stakeholder Management through continuous interaction with Business Leaders and Partners across the globe.
