Job Description Summary:

SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The position is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

SCOPE OF POSITION This position reports directly to the Nurse Manager or Clinical Nurse Manager of the Flex department and has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The position delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

The OhioHealth Women’s Health Flex Team provides services to post-partum units at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital, Grady Memorial, OhioHealth Mansfield, Marion General, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Pickerington Methodist Hospital, and Berger Hospital.

Weekend requirement is every third with one winter & one summer holiday commitment. Seeking two years of post-partum experience.

Additional benefits include $6.00 per hour float pay incentive, mileage reimbursement, and flexible schedules.

Part-time available upon request.
