A day in the life.

As our Manager of Loss Control Services on the Business Insurance team, you’ll be responsible for delivering risk management, loss prevention, and safety services focused on employee safety and workers' compensation. The role requires technical knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA and strong communication skills to interact with insurance representatives, clients, and agency personnel. You will provide training on regulatory compliance, workers' compensation cost control, and insurance requirements. The client base heavily focused on construction and manufacturing companies in the St. Louis area, with occasional overnight travel. Services are delivered through phone consultations, on-site assessments, and risk enhancement recommendations, and the manager may also represent the department to prospective clients.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years insurance loss control or safety consulting/engineering experience with construction, manufacturing and related industries
  • Prior management experience
  • Missouri Producer’s License required within 1 year of employment. 

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

  • CSP, ARM, and ALCM are preferred.

  • Knowledge of loss control strategies related to vehicle operations, fire prevention, general liability, etc. 
  • Knowledge of DOT, NFPA, ANSI and Industrial
  • Hygiene Practices is a plus
