Job Summary
• This role is responsible for continuously improving system performance to meet process requirements and minimize downtime, particularly through the development of new test programs for emerging technologies. The role actively participates in diagnosing and resolving issues related to various protocols, equipment, and products, ensuring the efficient operation of systems. The role serves as a technical resource and escalation point for team members, providing expert guidance in provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
Responsibilities
• Collaborates in the process of diagnosing and rectifying issues associated with both novel and established protocols, apparatus, products, and more.
• Identifies and resolves technical, operational, and organizational problems, ensuring smooth operations and workflow.
• Acts as a technical resource and point of escalation for team members, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Works towards improving system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downtimes, thereby enhancing overall productivity.
• Contributes extensively to the development of fresh test programs and procedures as required to accommodate emerging technologies.
• Provides expert provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
• Applies extensive knowledge, resolves complex issues, and recommends improvements through creative and effective approaches.
• Coordinates departmental work, mentors the team, and serves as an escalation point for different issues in the related area of work.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement, makes recommendations, and also assures effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification.
• Coordinates the functional work within the department, assists various departments, monitors process execution, and fosters positive working relationships with associates and management.
Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-6 years of related work experience, preferably in equipment operation and troubleshooting , or a related field.
