We are looking for an energetic leader to join our team as a NPMC Mail Processing Supervisor.  The Mail Processing Supervisor is responsible for driving performance of associates, executing a daily strategy that prioritizes the movement of mail in a production environment, engaging with vendors regarding equipment, and providing timely solutions or feedback when necessary. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills to support associate and department goals while promoting a production centric and highly engaged environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the operational activities related to the Printing, Insertion and Post Processing of current and potential policyholder documents

  • Support existing workflow processes. Review and recommend new or improved workflow processes

  • Enforce adherence to procedures through formal processes and standards

  • Accident prevention, safeguards, preventative measures for all equipment

  • Complete all tasks related to associate performance and development. Provide associate guidance and administer appropriate action when necessary

  • Evaluate, forecast, and maintain required staffing to meet daily production requirements

  • Work with vendors to support daily operational needs

Qualifications:

  • Prior management experience required

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to coach and drive performance

  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization

  • Must demonstrate excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills; Ability to perform under pressure and stressful situations

  • Evaluate and forecast business needs based off production requirements and required staffing needs

  • Complete all tasks related to associate performance and development. Provide associate guidance and administer appropriate action when necessary

  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills

  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information, and follow processes that have been published

  • Must be able to provide system training to team members as needed

  • Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly

Preferred Experience:

  • Mechanical equipment

  • Vendor management

  • Preventive maintenance

  • Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio

  • Six sigma/Lean methods

  • Fast paced production environment

  • 24hr operation Schedule:

Schedule: Current opening is for a three-day work week with hours being 6:30pm – 7:30am.  Shifts rotate every 6 weeks with the work week beginning on either a Sunday at 6:30pm or Wednesday at 6:30pm.
