Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced or Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 4:

• Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
• Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
• Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
• Develops current and projected work statement.
• Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Develops and executes work movement plans.

Position Responsibilities – Senior Level 5:

• Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
• Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
• Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
• Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
• Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
• Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Manages work movement plans.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
• More than 5 years of experience do you have managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Additional Basic qualifications:

• Experience building relationships with suppliers
• Experience with project and program management
• Experience creating status reports, and presenting material, for program and supply chain leadership
• Experience working with Procurement Agents (Buyers), leadership and across functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience in program management within supplier management.
• More than 5 years of experience do you have with proposal development and contract negotiations
• More than 5 years of experience do you have creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements

• Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Senior Level 5: More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Preferred qualifications:

• Understanding of procurement processes, tools and associated process steps
• Experience with supplier contracting activities pre and post-award
• Understanding of engineering release workflow process
• Experience working closely with engineer design leads on release plans

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 30% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Experienced Level 4: $110,500 - $136,500

Summary pay range for Senior Level 5: $128,350 - $158,550
