OVERVIEW:
The HR Operations Specialist is a member of the team responsible for strategic HR process efficiency, addressing teammate questions, and driving technology enablement. A key focus of this team is improving the teammate experience through quick and accurate question resolution by enabling automated, self-service functionality. This specialist will be focused on Tier 1 Support to our teammates as well as assisting with HR Compliance processes (Unemployment, I-9s, Iron Mountain). Additionally, this specialist will work throughout HR to help identify productivity enhancements that can be made through technology, data, or process improvements.
This will be a remote position but candidate will be expected to travel into the office (Coraopolis, PA) at times.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure all HR processes follow operational compliance regulations. This includes process improvement, communication and partnership with vendors, and effective communications with HR Business Partners and various COEs.
Focus on timely resolution to teammate inquiries through the ServiceNow platform. Support our user population (stores, distribution centers, corporate teammates) with questions, troubleshooting, simplistic reporting, and process adherence for Tier 1 support.
Create, maintain, and update knowledge articles within the systems to ensure our teammates have current and the most up to date information.
Take a user-centric approach to processes, technology, and procedures to improve the teammate experience.
Assist with project scoping, design, testing, and implementation as needed.
Collaborate and communicate across HR and other functions to understand internal opportunities and learn to suggest system automation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications
1 - 3 Years with Service Delivery
Society for HR Management (SHRM) Certification optional
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator optional
Case Management experience (ServiceNow, etc.)
Human Capital Management Platform (Workday) a plus
Service Delivery (e.g. HR, Call Center, etc.) a plus
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion
Process efficiency / productivity improvement
Creative Problem Solving
Excellent relationship-building & teamwork skills
Strong understanding of communication styles
