    Summary

    The Senior Manager FP&A leading a Therapeutic Area (TA) throughout the Nordics, offers financial planning and analysis support to the TA team, and supports Nordics Finance in analytical capabilities development and expense management.

    1. Purpose/Objective of the job:

    • Oversee a Therapeutic Area throughout the Nordics, offering financial planning and analysis support to the TA team.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and inform strategic decisions.
    • Guarantee precise financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to bolster the goals of both the Therapeutic Area and the broader Nordics cluster.

    2. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide enhanced analytics to senior management for monthly performance, projections, budget, and ad-hoc strategic planning exercise.
    • Collaborate with BI&A team to design and implement new reports and dashboards supporting business decisions.
    • Develop business cases and financial insights to assist senior leadership in making sound investment decisions.
    • Partner with commercial and medical teams to appropriately manage operating expenses in line with business needs.
    • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc analyses for various stakeholders and partner with them to resolve any issues.
    • Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement within the organization.
    • Actively participate in the month-end processes, including review of P&L and management reporting.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management.
    • Establish strong working relationships with Regional and Corporate Headquarters, and other divisions in order to accomplish both individual and group objectives.

    3. Desired Competences & Experiences

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA, CFA and/or MBA preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Pharma experience is a plus.
    • Proven business partnering capabilities and ability to identify risks and opportunities.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Hyperion).
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and senior management.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business needs.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
