How you will do it :

ESG Reporting

The person is responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual roll-up of ESG Metrics for Board packs, Sustainability Report, regional non-financial reports including annual third party verification through limited and / or reasonable assurance.


Development Value

  • Work directly with data owners across the organization to ensure timely, verified information.  The cross-functional team includes global procurement, operations, facilities, EHS, product management, finance, field service operations among others. 
  • A good knowledge of ESG reporting and regulatory disclosure requirements – GRI, SASB, TCFD, pending SEC Climate Change & CSRD rules, etc. and expert in the use of the GHG Protocol requirements and recommendations and all other third-party frameworks and guidance for ESG Reporting.
  • Assist in the development of ongoing requirements for ESG and sustainability data quality and availability.  Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting across a range of ESG metrics
  • Monitor emerging and evolving global ESG trends and frameworks (e.g., GRI, IR, TCFD, CDP, SASB, and others as mentioned above) and regulations (national and global) to advance the disclosures of JCI entities.
  • Work on regulatory guidance implementation, IT implementation projects
  • Exposure to a broad range of legal entities, deepen knowledge about ESG frameworks and regulations
  • Opportunities to gain a thorough knowledge of several Finance processes
  • Experience of working within a complex matrix organization
  • Exposure to senior Finance and Business management

 

Additional Job Description

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in sustainability and ESG reporting, overall 8-10+ years’ experience in reporting roles (environmental statistics/controlling/finance/ auditing).
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant, Master in Finance, MBA (Environment Management), Masters in Environment/ Sustainability Management
  • Demonstrate interest in ESG, climate risk reporting and related areas
  • Knowledge of SOX, internal controls
  • Understanding of ESG disclosure trends and best practices is an advantage
  • Excellent project management skills, analytical skills, proficient in Excel and comfortable analyzing large datasets
  • Excellent communications skills, including significant experience in written and oral reports and presentations to high-level management. Should have ability to listen effectively, evaluate the most critical elements being communicated and communicate with team and Director on an open and timely basis
