Job Title: Associate Manager, Field Marketing
Department: Marketing - Field & Channel

Overview:
This Associate Manager position requires expertise in downstream, Field Marketing and will play a major role in the commercial success of Omnipod by leading all field sales channel efforts to maximize engagement and influence HCP prescribing habits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to field sales promotional strategy and execution, field messaging & communication and product launch excellence to drive significant growth and execute a fully integrated marketing strategy.
This person will become the marketing point of contact for the field sales team and field leadership team, the cross-functional commercial team & the field training teams to develop and launch new, compelling field/HCP resources to support new customer Omnipod growth. By working proactively and collaboratively with key customer stakeholders (internal and external from the organization), this Associate Manager will have a central role in business analysis, field marketing strategy development, new product commercialization and portfolio management planning.
These and other core activities (designed and executed by this role) will ensure the growth of a successful diabetes business at Insulet.
Core Responsibilities:
- Field Marketing Ownership and Communication: Responsible for field sales marketing initiatives including but not limited to field programs, promotions, field sales talk-tracks, and national/regional sales meeting planning and execution.
- Ongoing field travel and support of industry events (primarily in-person) is required to stay connected to the field team and customer needs. In addition, this person will serve as a liaison between field sales leadership and marketing management and take part in weekly calls at both the regional and district level in addition to managing field communications.
- Drive HCP Engagement and Prescription Growth through field sales team: Responsible for the development and execution of field sales collateral, messaging, creative selling tools and collaboration with downstream teams on ongoing content development for HCP channels such as the website, newsletters, co-promotions, tradeshow booths, campaigns, and promotional webinars. This role will require strong cross-functional partnership with franchise and commercial marketing teams to own the field sales execution of the National Congress promotional strategy to make the biggest impact with new messaging, programs and/or product launches.
- Implementation of New Product Commercialization: Responsible for working with the franchise marketing teams to ensure a seamless knowledge transfer of product innovation and go-to-market strategy to develop the core field materials needed for a successful launch and beyond. Develop and maintain cross functional collaboration with field sales training to ensure continued pull-through of field sales resources and core messaging. This role will require strong proactive collaboration with all franchises (Omnipod 5, Type-2, Data Products, and End to End) with a core focus on the End-to-End franchise.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
- 6+ years of field sales experience within the medical device/ pharmaceutical industry (diabetes strongly preferred with documented success)
- Experience in developing and fostering relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Experience in new product commercialization and successful launch efforts
- Self-starter that possesses a high degree intellectual curiosity and drive
- Excellent oral and/or written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment • Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Detail-savvy, organized and outcomes-oriented
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Will be accountable for executing on high visibility field marketing projects and tactics to meet sales goals and deliver on business objectives
- Proven track record in creating and delivering on impactful field sales tools and educational platforms
- Responsible for MLR (Medical, Legal and Regulatory) approvals
- Will ensure timely and consistent provision of key marketing and training support materials for the field team
- Responsible for determining metrics and tracking ongoing ROI for field marketing projects to define value of program and modify as necessary to maximize impact
- Will act as Marketing liaison with Field Leadership to drive meaningful field marking initiatives with a clinical focus
- Collaborate closely with all cross-functional team members including legal, regulatory, managed care, clinical, training, medical education, executive leadership and sales to ensure streamlined processes for field-related projects and activities
- Communicates effectively with stakeholders at various levels and can works cross-functionally with technical and business professionals
- Ability to work autonomously and take strong accountability and ownership of multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can handle competing and changing priorities, resources, and time demands
- Ability to work well independently and within a team setting including across multiple internal teams • Ability to build dynamic customer presentations in multiple formats including but not limited to PowerPoint, Prezi, Tiled, Ceros.
Physical Requirements (if applicable):
- Will be required to travel approximately 25% for field rides, customer visits and attend all project related tradeshows or conferences

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $84,600.00 - $127,050.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
