ABOUT THE POSITION 

Department: Finance Department is the center of an organization that ensures efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities.  It is the trusted custodian of company assets and stakeholder’s value; the strategic business partner working alongside different business units providing financial analysis and insight to drive strategic decision making; and the service provider of timely, relevant, and accurate financial information.

Position Introduction: As the South Asia LO Finance Manager, you will play a leadership role in all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting of India & Bangladesh offices. You will lead and provide direction, management oversight for the finance and book-keeping activities. You will also leverage your experiences and skills to help ensure that our policies and procedures maintain pace with our evolving business environment. In all, this position will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to the company.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE 

  • Keep up-to-date records as per local requirements of India & Bangladesh
  • Ensure financial/tax compliance with the local laws
  • Develop suitable budgets and control the same with regular variance reports
  • Liaise between South Asia regional Office and the head office on financial reports and activities
  • Review bookkeeping, purchasing and payroll functions to ensure legal compliance  
  • Forecast and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funding to cover expenses
  • Liaise with auditors to finalize the financial statements
  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with LO Director
  • Manage performance and people development
