Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and procure Genuine Nissan and Infiniti Accessories from assigned suppliers in support of NNA VPC Accessory business.
  • Review and maintain optimal inventory levels of VPC Accessories across a network of 10 VPC locations and 7 Warehouse located throughout the U.S and Mexico
  • Establish various forecasting and inventory control parameters within VPC Procurement System in order to meet various department objectives.
  • Manage relationship and day-to-day activity with assigned VPC Accessory suppliers
  • Prepare inventory shortage status to management concerning critical situations
  • Create inventory analysis reports for review with management
  • Conduct transportation expedite analysis for review with management
  • Coordinate with VPC Accessory Operations for system BOM set up for assigned parts
  • Coordinate with VPC Accessory Operations for warehouse space requirements for assigned parts
  • Coach those suppliers needing improvement on timely delivery of VPC Accessories
  • Review supplier open order reports to prioritize supplier production addressing critical outstanding orders.
  • Allocate supplier shipping of limited available production
  • Support department’s high volume complex programs and suppliers utilizing all available technical skills effectively and proficiently
  • Investigate supplier delinquent paid invoices discrepancies
  • Process component replacement orders to maintain VPC Accessory kit integrity
  • Collaborate as necessary with Accessory Product Planning, Accessory Engineering, Accessory Quality and Accessory Sales and Marketing departments for assigned parts
  • Provide training and assistance as needed for new and current staff in completing job responsibilities
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are not representative
  • Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Equivalent related professional experience, technical courses, seminars and in-house classroom training.
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory control processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, parts forecasting methodologies, and associated system software.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including V-lookup, Macros and advanced formulas, Powe Point, Word, other PC applications

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel: Infrequent day and overnight travel
  • Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
  • Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
