The Senior Director, Cyber Security Strategy will serve as a senior, cross-functional leader at CBE Companies, responsible for shaping how security, risk, and governance enable growth, protect revenue, and strengthen client trust. This role is designed for a seasoned security and risk leader who influences through credibility, clarity, and execution—driving alignment across Compliance, IT, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Executive Leadership without relying on formal authority. The Senior Director, Cyber Security Strategy translates complex security and risk concepts into business-aligned strategies that support CBE’s regulated BPO environment, enterprise clients, and long-term growth initiatives. CBE operates at the intersection of compliance, trust, and performance. The Senior Director, Cyber Security Strategy role ensures security and risk are not barriers—but accelerators—to growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Job Details:
Strategic Influence & Enterprise Alignment
Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on security risk, third-party risk, and governance strategy
Influence cross-functional leaders to adopt risk-aware, business-aligned decisions
Align security initiatives with revenue protection, operational scalability, and client expectations
Security Risk & Governance Leadership
Advise and influence enterprise security risk initiatives across:
Third-party and vendor risk management
Security governance and policy frameworks
Contractual security requirements and control standards
Modernize and continuously improve supplier security governance and oversight models
Redesign and enhance security-focused contract frameworks in partnership with Legal and Procurement
Third-Party & Vendor Risk Enablement
Work with Vendor Management to develop and operationalize third-party security requirements that are practical, scalable, and auditable that encompass many different required frameworks of our company: SOC, NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS etc.
Balance regulatory, contractual, and operational realities in vendor risk decisions
Serve as a key voice in client and auditor discussions related to vendor risk and security posture
AI & Emerging Technology Enablement
Partner with executive leadership, IT, Compliance, and Operations to safely accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across the organization
Assess and manage AI-related risks, including data protection, third-party AI vendors, model governance, regulatory considerations, and client trust impacts
Serve as a strategic advisor on AI risk posture in client discussions, audits, and regulatory engagements
Program Leadership & Execution
Drive large, complex initiatives from strategy through execution
Simplify complexity into clear plans, milestones, and accountability
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes, not just documentation
Communication, Change & Leadership
Communicate security and risk topics with clarity, tact, and executive presence
Motivate and guide teams through organizational and regulatory change
Build strong partnerships across Security, IT, Compliance, Operations, Sales, and Finance
Serve as a calm, steady leader in high-stakes or time-sensitive situations
Leadership Approach & Influence Style
Communicates clearly and strategically with technical and non-technical audiences
Builds trust quickly across business, security, and technology teams

Job Requirements:
10+ years of experience in security risk management, third-party / vendor risk, cybersecurity governance or GRC
Must be able to obtain government clearance after hire. US Citizenship is required by the US government in order to obtain government clearance.
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale security or risk programs
Strong background bridging technical security concepts with business strategy
Demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Experience in highly regulated environments (financial services, BPO, telecom, healthcare, or similar)
Experience supporting large enterprise or consumer-facing organizations
Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC, NIST, PCI-DSS and vendor risk standards.
The starting pay range for this position is $130,000-$150,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
