Job Summary:

Collaborates with business executives, stakeholders, IT staff, and external vendors to ensure the ERP system meets the business needs and complies with the industry standards and best practices. Maintains technology to ensure systems are stable, operational and secure. Manages the daily operations and maintenance of the ERP system, as well as leading the development and implementation of new features and enhancements. Leads, coaches and manages technology, development and project teams. Leads new technology initiatives to ensure business needs are being achieved.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the ERP system operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, security, and user support.
  • Lead the ERP system development, including gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and developing solutions, testing and deploying changes, and documenting and training users.
  • Coordinate with the ERP vendor and other third-party providers to ensure the system integration, compatibility, and functionality.
  • Plan and execute the ERP system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to the business operations.
  • Establish and enforce the ERP system policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring the system compliance with the regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Manage the ERP system budget, resources, and timelines, ensuring the project delivery within the scope, time, and cost.
  • Stay updated with the ERP system trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Collaborate with business executives, business stakeholders, IT Leaders and other IT functions to ensure technology(ies) needs are acceptable, successful and align cross functions. 
  • Assist in creating IT standards, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring employees are compliant with defined IT standards, policies, and processes.
  • Establish and manage relationships with stakeholders by attending meetings, establishing a cadence of communication, and meeting commitments.
  • Understand business and strategic initiatives and provides innovative solutions that add value to the current and future business.
  • Create and executes roadmap for new technologies while ensuring existing environment is current.

SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This position uses JD Edwards and other technologies to ensure enhancements, maintenance and operations for the Supply Chain, including engineering, demand planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance,  and customer service. This position will be held accountable to performance metrics and allocated budgets for projects.

MINIMIUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years supervisory/leadership experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle JD Edwards - cross-functional knowledge related to engineering, demand planning, customer service & warranty, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, capital asset management and/or financial modules a plus. Knowledge related to JD Edwards development OneWorld Management Workbench (OMW) processes, upgrade
  • 5+ years of experience with other ERP related manufacturing shop floor development processes and implementation
  • 3+ years of experience with clouded platform integrations
  • Up to 10% travel.

PREFERED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge or experience related to the following systems/ technologies: JDE Development, JDE Orchestrator, Shop Floor, Cisco Telephony, Oracle Agile, Demand Planning, Oracle Transportation Management, Shop Floor systems, SOA/SOM, DSI, Web-based scanner applications, BSSV and API  integration
  • JDE upgrade/migration experience (i.e JDE 9.1 -9.2)
  • Project management certifications or other related training
  • Management of teams using a formalized System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools
  • Management of teams using support/incident tracking tools (E.g. - Service Now, Jira)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May have between 6 - 15 direct reports, both employees and contracted resources.
