As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will support the coordination and execution of processes involving vendors who specialize in mailing processing, printing, and related services for our insurance accounts. Your role is essential in ensuring that these processes are carried out smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Vendor Support: Assist in managing day-to-day interactions with vendors, ensuring that mailing processing, printing, and related services meet the specific needs of insurance account services.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements by identifying areas for improvement and helping to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Team Assistance: Support a team of senior analysts and analysts by providing necessary information and resources, and helping to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work with senior management and other team members to support the execution of vendor management strategies that align with business goals and insurance account requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Help track vendor performance metrics and key indicators, using data to support decision-making and improve service delivery.
  • Budget Support: Assist in tracking budgetary aspects and resource allocation for vendor management functions related to mailing and printing services for insurance accounts.
  • Reporting Assistance: Help prepare and present performance reports, providing insights and highlighting areas for improvement based on vendor performance.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vendor-related activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining high levels of operational integrity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry, with a solid understanding of regulatory aspects.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a vendor support role, preferably within the Life Insurance industry.
  • Experience in assisting with business process transactions with external vendors, particularly in mailing and printing services.
  • Proficiency in business process management and optimization techniques.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Systems experience: AWD, Sharepoint, Power BI, MS Office.

Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Environment:

  • Remote Work: This position offers remote work within the United States.
  • Travel: May require occasional travel, less than 10%

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,800.
