The Global PC&L Systems & Business Process Director is a central leadership position within the Intelligent Systems Global Operations and PC&L organization. This role is responsible for developing, driving, and maintaining the end-to-end PC&L Global Process Framework, and for assuring its effectiveness through a robust support and delivery structure. The scope encompasses the Order-to-Cash, Demand-to-Supply, and Procure-to-Pay process areas.
This role is also accountable for end-to-end PC&L Master Data maturity, cleanliness, and effectiveness, as elevating Master Data Management and EDI process governance to the next level is critical to ensuring high-quality material and information flows from initiation through the product life cycle.
Finally, this position will drive the development of the PC&L Systems and Analytics area, with a strong focus on optimizing Aptiv’s end-to-end supply chain analytical capabilities to enable proactive action planning and informed decision-making.
The Global PC&L Systems & Business Process Director reports to the VP of Production Control & Logistics, who in turn reports to the VP of Operations within the Intelligent Systems business.
Your role
- Drive the PC&L Global Process Framework across all business process areas: Order-to-Cash (OTC), Demand-to-Supply (DTS), and Procure-to-Pay (PTP);
- Develop and coordinate process excellence initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of PC&L business processes and operations;
- Identify and document process gaps and inefficiencies, recommending solutions and coordinating execution with the respective Business Process Owners (BPOs) and other relevant stakeholders;
- Develop metrics and reporting to monitor process performance and measure the impact of process changes;
- Coordinate within the BPO team the development and maintenance of process standards and descriptions, ensuring that all process documentation is up to date in EOS;
- Collaborate with other departments to identify potential areas for process improvement, driving Aptiv’s processes as One Team toward higher levels of operational excellence;
- Develop and implement the PC&L Support and Delivery organization and standardize it across the BPO areas (OTC, DTS, PTP);
- Foster a culture of process excellence by communicating initiatives, progress, and results across the organization;
- Drive the effectiveness of EDI processes to ensure transactions are processed accurately and on time, promoting continuous improvement and benchmarking against industry best practices;
- Ensure robust communication with customers and suppliers to enable flawless launches of new projects, particularly with respect to data and information flows aligned with customer-specific requirements;
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication with central teams (Sales, GBS, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management), as well as with global, regional, and plant PC&L teams, guaranteeing consistent and effective process execution;
- Define and execute the PC&L Systems and Analytics strategy;
- Manage and develop a team supporting internal stakeholders through the creation of tools, reports, and dashboards used to monitor performance, provide actionable insights, and drive optimization.
Your background
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent;
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain and related business areas within a fast-paced technology and/or automotive environment;
- 4+ years of project management experience, coordinating complex initiatives with multiple teams and senior stakeholders;
- Strong proficiency in the English language;
- Analytical mindset, strongly process-driven, with the ability to assess performance through both process and people lenses;
- Good working knowledge of SAP ERP and its integration with other systems;
- Proven experience as a people manager in a global, multicultural team environment.
