Overview
Join a team that shapes the foundation of the global payment’s ecosystem. The Chief Administration Office manages legal and global affairs, ensuring regulatory compliance, licensing customers, registering third parties, onboarding participants, and setting and enforcing the rules that govern the Mastercard ecosystem.
As Mastercard accelerates digital transformation and expands its services, this role will be critical in supporting risk management for the Franchise function—helping the organization navigate a dynamic, evolving ecosystem and to drive innovation at scale.

Role
- Engage with Franchise teams to identify and document key risks and communicate them to the appropriate risk teams for review and resolution.
- Assist with maintaining Franchise risk governance tools, including dashboards.
- Monitor and analyze risk trends within the Franchise ecosystem to provide insights for decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and governance activities.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of risk-related deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline risk and governance processes.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry developments that may impact Franchise risk management.
All About You
- Proactive and curious, with a drive to learn and improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- 3+ years of experience in risk management or internal audit within financial services, banking, or technology.
- Strong ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and work effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly in a fast-paced setting.
- Skilled in problem-solving with a creative and analytical mindset.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
