Job Summary:

Commercial Channel Innovation Manager is a role typically found in industries where distribution channel is key to business success. The position will develop innovative strategy to drive business growth through new regional commercial platform, programs and partnerships in the commercial channels.

Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy Development:
Design and implement innovative strategies for expanding and improving the business's presence in key commercial channels.

Innovation Leadership:
Identify commercial innovation trends and technologies that could impact the business. Lead the creation and rollout of new innovation practices, services, or go-to-market strategies that enhance the business growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development and other functions to ensure innovation initiatives align with overall business objectives and can be effectively executed across different commercial channels.

Partnerships & Alliances:
Identify and manage strategic partnerships with channel partners, distributors, or other stakeholders that could help accelerate growth and innovation.

Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize data analytics and market insights to monitor performance across channels, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure the success of new innovations.

Budgeting & Resource Allocation:
Manage the budget for channel innovation initiatives and ensure effective allocation of resources to key projects.

Compliance Management:

Assess the potential compliance risks of new business models or channel strategies. Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure alignment with legal standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of diverse commercial, marketing or related experience.
  • Proven ability to influence across a range of diverse stakeholders.
  • Have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical policy environment and have the ability to analyze and interpret policies.
  • Highly responsible, customer-oriented, results-oriented, with the ability to deliver high-quality results.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills, the ability to predict potential business risks and obstacles, and the ability to take effective measures to reduce risks.
  • Excellent work ethic, able to overcome obstacles and implement the values advocated by the company.
  • Good interpersonal skills, cross-departmental collaboration skills and resource integration skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
