About the role:

The role of the Nordic Brand Manager is to drive solution sales and brand awareness by getting a deep understanding of the market for the Advanced Wound Care product. You will deliver consistent, clear product messaging aligned with our global branding and strategy. 

The relevant person will have a focus on the designated brand area across the 4 Nordic marketsFurther, the role will have a close link to the local home country, where you they will support with local marketing tasks, exhibitions etc.  Each Nordic Brand Manager covers a brand area across the 4 Nordic countries and will work closely together.  

The Nordic Brand Manager will implement global strategies for local market execution. 

The AWC area is targeted towards highly skilled HCP’s (Doctors and Nurses)

  

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Delivers on the marketing strategy according to the global marketing plans 

  • Responsible for product launches, ensuring every relevant party involved to successful delivery e.g.; Sales teams, supply chain, finance, commercial, according to Global Marketing guidance 

  • Tracks campaign and launch effectiveness and secure the improvement of activities in ShowPad and PowerBi. 

  • Optimizes market communication on current products (e.g. arrange webinars with Key Opinion Leaders and create new communication pieces) 

  • Supports Tenders related to products, technical product information, evidence etc. 

  • Provides information and insight on the marketplace for AWC, competitors and market landscape to Nordic management. 

  • Monitors and analyses sales performance and market conditions, including customer needs and competitors, implements marketing plans  

  • Identifies and exploits new market opportunities 

  • Drives messaging to HCPs via email campaigns, LinkedIn and Facebook – You know your brand and the messages, and you work closely together with the Nordic Digital Brand Manager who has the overview of the platforms   

  • Organizes and executes congresses and events to ensure brand awareness and customer interaction. 

  • Takes part of the budget planning process 

  • Coordinates and executes product training support to all relevant sales teams, new starters

  • Ensures effective relationships with global marketing departments and other internal functions – supply chain, legal, finance 

  • Drives and implements webinars in the Nordic markets, with external HCP speakers using On24 platform or Teams. You will work together with Nordic colleagues driving your brand area forward

  • Customers / KOL’s together with Product Specialists 

Travel Requirements

20% - 25%, on occasion, as business needs require minimal overnight stays, i.e., sales conferences, national or international congresses, team meetings.

Language Skills:

Local Nordic language (DK or SE or FI or NO) fluent – writing/ reading and speaking, able to proofread texts  

This role requires fluent Finnish.

English fluent – writing / reading and speaking  

Education/Qualifications

Required: 

  • Master or bachelor’s in marketing, business economics or administration  

  • Mastery of core marketing principles including brand development and positioning, implementation of global campaigns 

  • Knowledge of medical device (ideally the Advanced Wound Care market) and/ or pharmaceutical industries  

  • General marketing and sales experience in medical device industry, preferably from AWC 

  • Strong analytical mindset and very good excel skills

Main Requirements/Experience

  • Strong marketing mindset 

  • Experienced in managing local market and key customer groups, understanding how to meet customer needs in the new digital space after Covid19 

  • Preferably brings knowledge of different tools, e.g. Optimizely, ShowPad, PowerBi, ON24

  • Successful development of product/service marketing strategies and implementation of marketing plans/ campaigns by use of multiple channels 

  • In depth knowledge in planning and organizing meetings, congresses, and exhibitions 

  • Strong analytical skills, good written and verbal communication competencies, able to analyze and interpret data to support decision making and leverage 360 dialogue 

  • Presentation expertise to local and global management levels 

  • Strong project management skills to deliver on tight deadlines and manage complex interdisciplinary project teams 

  • Understanding of technical operations, supply chain, finance, and sales 

  • Ability to work independently and communicate  

  • Takes own responsibility and drives the business forward 

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities 

  • High drive and motivation for creating change and innovative ideas  

  • Demonstrates self-confidence when dealing with complex processes 

  • Acts with sensitivity and empathy in dialogue with internal and external customers and stakeholders 

  • Processes strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally 

  • Able to plan and balance several marketing related requirements 

  • Exercises a high degree of adaptability in dealing with complex, dynamic work environment 

Working Conditions

National legislation / full week working time 

Working environment is office based with home office possibility and partial travel.
