The Day to Day (Responsibilities):
The Human Resources Business Partner collaborates in recommending, developing, and implementing Human Resources strategies and activities to support the success of the leaders and employees. Primary areas include employee relations, performance management, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance, with responsibility for managing and/or facilitating specific projects and programs to support business needs.
The HRBP will support the Headquarters region in alignment with the Company and Human Resources strategic goals, including:
Acts as a business partner with business unit management. Ensures Human Resources objectives lead to the achievement of business objectives.
Communicates and provides guidance to ensure integrity of all human resources policies and procedures.
Partner with regional management team and employees to ensure employees have the necessary skills, information, and resources to maximize employee potential and succession planning objectives to align with the strategic direction of the company.
Provide counsel and coaching to management and employees on employee relations issues, performance management and learning and development process. Documenting actions and progress.
Manage potential employee relations issues by leading intake sessions, investigate as appropriate, and solicit necessary resources or experts.
Coach managers and employees in areas of the Performance Management cycle including goal setting, performance appraisals, development planning, and corrective actions.
Facilitate formal learning activities and other development sessions as needed in alignment with organization development.
Seeks opportunities for process improvements/optimization and the design of new processes, including automation and/or transfer of relevant tasks to Workday
Facilitate the 360 Degree Feedback coaching process for the management team.
Partner in on-boarding process for leaders and new hires and the exit process for terminations in regional area.
Partner in talent performance calibration and compensation planning /administration for regional customer group.
Provide coaching and communication strategies to influence employee engagement, including providing leadership on engagement survey and engagement related strategies. Lead employee experience initiatives to drive employee engagement with managers/teams.
Contribute as a project leader or project team member on various Human Resources continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead with data and analytics when executing major responsibilities.
Understand the key metrics of the leaders you support, taking a proactive approach using this data to further optimize manager effectiveness and drive enhanced business results
Keeps self and others informed of professional Human Resources trends and developments by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned
Must Haves (minimum qualifications):
BA/BS degree in business-related field, Psychology, or Organization Development (or equivalent work experience required). Minimum of 6 years of related experience and project management experience.
The ideal candidate will be creative and innovative in balancing organizational needs and business capabilities while demonstrating strong customer service skills and a passion for developing others and having FUN!
Ability to implement change initiatives and communicate on a one-to-one basis and group setting to influence others.
Ability to perform and advise on planning, assignment, training, direction, and motivation of employees with diverse backgrounds.

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
