This position is the Pricing and Estimating Manager supporting multiple divisions. Key activities include pre-proposal strategic engagement; management of proposals, ROMs, and NTEs; and executive interface. Must be an excellent communicator with a strong business background to coordinate and collaborate with various disciplines and communicate with all levels of management.
This position is based in Linthicum, MD.
What You'll Get To Do:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a schedule driven environment.
Manage proposal pricing professionals engaged in the preparation of new business cost proposals, change proposals, and task/delivery orders spanning all contract types.
Provide oversight, support to and review of all cost proposal products, participate in strategy development, and presentation of financial data to executive leadership.
Ensure Estimating System compliance and advise leadership of pricing requirements, obligations, and risks.
Must be able to function in a fast-paced proposal environment and collaborate with Sector senior management, business management counterparts, and capture/proposal teams to develop pricing and win strategies while ensuring compliance and schedule adherence.
Represent the Sector for major proposals, and initiatives within Pricing and Business Management to include NAR/ICE and Color Team reviews.
Interact with personnel and management at all levels concerning matters of significance to the company related to cost proposals. Will interface and coordinate with other business management leaders and staff on a daily basis.
Make decisions on operational issues within prescribed area and manage a staff of pricing analysts and proposal pricing teams in multiple geographic locations to include mentoring, training, staff development and performance reviews.
Provide/ensure reviews of all proposal pricing prior to delivery and senior executive reviews.
Provide guidance and ensure continued development of staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of Pricing and/or Business experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years of Pricing and/or Business experience.
Active Secret level clearance with the ability to get a TS level clearance
Thorough knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other applicable government regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of pricing, contracts, or business management
Experience with U.S. Government, commercial, and international proposals.
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated strengths will include a highly collaborative work style, the ability to anticipate problems, success in resolving difficult situations and effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance.

Salary Range: $109,800.00 - $164,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
