SUMMARY

The Order Management Intern will assist in coordinating the workflow of custom configured options requests, as well assist the configurator maintenance group and product groups (NPD) to elevate custom configured options and delete obsolete options. The intern will develop effective communications and a positive working relationship with other company employees, supervisors, and managers to ensure a team effort in achieving short and long-term company goals.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Achieve a complete understanding of the custom configured options functionality of the product configurator, which includes pricing, text, features, rules, BOM, symbols, and product data structure.
  • Assist in the creation of new custom configured options in a timely manner, which includes pricing and text that are well defined and accurate.
  • Assist in the creation of new symbols to support custom configured options that require visual presentation.
  • Assist other COT members with product definition and pricing as needed.
  • Support internal and external sales representatives with issues that pertain to a specific bid/order.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the product manager all items, which would be considered product improvements, enhancements, and obsolescence.
  • Carry out special assignments and projects that fall within the scope of this description.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Junior status working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Business related field. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
