Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in the execution of procurement and supply chain strategies, focusing on specific departmental targets.
• Handle routine procurement tasks, including purchase order processing, vendor communications, and contract compliance.
• Work closely with the procurement team, providing support and contributing to their development.
• Participate in the analysis of supply chain processes, identifying potential areas for improvement.
• Support the alignment of procurement activities with broader organizational goals.
• Assist in managing departmental budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting procurement and supply chain practices.
• Contribute to the tracking of departmental KPIs and provide regular updates on progress and performance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role in procurement and supply chai
• Proven experience in supply chain management.
• Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
