Job Summary
The Red Hat EMEA Tech Sales team is looking for an experienced OpenShift Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS) & Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM) Specialist Solutions Architect to join our Adoption organization.
As an RHACS/RHACM Specialist Solutions Architect for Adoption in the Central European team in EMEA your role will be leveraging an engagement-based delivery model to assist building a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer's architecture, development, and operations teams. In this role, you will promote the adoption and supported deployment of our Red Hat OpenShift platform management solutions in key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll work with customers both on-site and remotely to gain an understanding of their technology initiatives and align them with a successful adoption of the OpenShift platform. By helping them chart their adoption journey you will play a pivotal role in the customer leveraging both RHACS and RHACM to support the success of their business.
In conjunction with the customer, Red Hat’s Professional Services, Red Hat’s ISVs and system integrators, you will also design and deliver presentations, demos, workshops, proofs of concepts, and advise on our offerings, and you'll play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to enable our most challenging customers to adopt our solutions successfully. As a Specialist Solutions Architect, you will act as the customer's advocate to architect the best solution and ensure it is implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. We'll need you to have an excellent working knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud architectures and virtualization, their supporting infrastructures and associated tools and technologies.
What you will bring
Deliver successful Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security and Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape the customer's adoption, use cases, and architect design decisions
Scope engagements and guide customers through successful adoption of the products with local regional teams and other parties inside and outside of Red Hat that increase customers' confidence on the successful adoption of our offerings
Be the Voice of the Customer. Share insights and best practices and connect with product leaders to remove technical barriers to adoption.
Design, create, and deliver content that enables our customers to better understand their adoption journey to successfully adopt our platform, both in direct engagement with our customers, and via indirect engagement like blogs, articles and books as well as workshops made for both Red Hat associates and our partners to use for educating our customers
Work closely with internal product teams, Product Engineering, Professional Services, Global Support, and Sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat solutions
Act as the trusted subject matter expert for the customer, building long-lasting relationships within our key accounts
Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
Be curious and proactive, staying abreast of Red Hat’s ecosystem and technology changes.
What you will bring
Strong familiarity with information technology security technologies and cloud-native application security.
Familiarity with the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures
Strong technical knowledge and extensive experience in cloud-native application security solutions, preferably Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security (RHACS).
Knowledge of cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technologies like Red Hat OpenShift or related experience with Kubernetes deployments.
Technical knowledge and extensive experience with Kubernetes multi cluster management solutions preferably Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM) or the willingness to develop the knowledge.
Experience with DevOps tools, methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with Application development best practices.
Familiarity with cloud technologies specifically various types of cloud hosted kubernetes services.
Experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent in supporting large organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation, documentation and problem-solving skills.
Positive team player attitude and a strong desire to make our customers successful.
Ability to understand customers' challenges, requirements and technical issues and collaborate to address those with the appropriate technologies and solutions.
Knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or a RHEL derivative, as well as related technologies.
Proficient verbal and written English communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information to customers both clearly and concisely
Demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills
Willingness to travel 30% within the EMEA geo
Proficient verbal and written German communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information to customers both clearly and concisely
Knowledge of virtualization technologies for application deployment and operations like VMware vSphere, KVM, etc.
Experience with development technologies similar to Spring Boot, Node.js, JBoss EAP, JakartaEE, OpenJDK, Quarkus and .Net
Experience with enterprise application integration technologies similar to Fuse (Camel), API management (3Scale), and AMQ Streams (Kafka)
Experience or certification with any public cloud provider
Some experience working with developers, the SDLC, pipelines CI/CD and GitOps
Any Red Hat certification.
