We are actively sourcing an experienced People Services Advisor to join our People and Talent Services Team (PATS) within the SVHA People and Culture Team. Reporting to the People Services Lead in your team, you will act as the first point of escalation for complex HR advice, support and guidance to managers and employees alike. Processing complex employment contracts and Workday transactions and managing high volumes of HR transactions will be a fundamental part of this role.

There is one (1) Full Time Permanent positions available based in Queensland or Victoria. Salary range for this role is $88,000 plus superannuation and other benefits.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Act as the first point of escalation for the People Services transactions team regarding complex classification, qualification, payroll and our HRIS (Workday) queries
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members and encouraging development opportunities for the team.
  • Run complex HR reporting required by the business and maintain data for reporting in PowerBI and other dashboards as required
  • Liaise between various stakeholders within the People and Culture Team to ensure priorities are met
  • Proactive mentoring and coaching of stakeholders to train, assist and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the business

Things that work for us:

  • Proven experience as a mentor and leader to junior staff in a fast-paced HR Operations or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of the full recruitment and employee life cycle processes within St Vincent’s including onboarding and offboarding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with employees, hiring managers, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail
  • Advanced administration skills across Microsoft Office suite and proficiency with our HRIS
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar field, or demonstrated experience within HR - desirable
  • Current Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
