Product Operations, often referred to as "ProdOps," is a function within an organization that focuses
on supporting the product management and development teams to enhance efficiency and
effectiveness in delivering products to the market. It involves the coordination and optimization of
tools, processes, and strategies throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to launch and
beyond.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead a team of talented product operations specialists.
• Create a strong charter for this team.
• Owing the 5 pillars of Product Operations
o Operational excellence
▪ Create, optimize, and execute the end-to-end process for the Lifecyle of a
product / service / feature.
▪ Create and ensure all runbooks are getting executed.
▪ Ensure we have a scalable product documentation process.
▪ Work with product leaders to ensure we have a high-quality value
management process.
▪ Work with product leadership to ensure our product teams attain our yearly
goals with great rigor and visibility.
o Post-Production operations
▪ Production issues management
▪ Critical issues prioritization and management
▪ Tech optimizations prioritization & management
▪ Focus on supporting product teams with automation to reduce the disruptions.
o Data governance
▪ Work with leader of product analytics to execute data governance standards as
defined by data governance processes.
▪ Work with product analytics leader to ensure we can bring the voice of
customer closer to the product management.
o Tools and Vendor management
▪ Create a strong vendor and tools management process.
▪ Ensure all QBRs are fully optimized and actionable.
▪ Working with product leadership to identify the right tools to ensure we can
create a fast moving, data driven product management team.
o Budget management
▪ Own full P&L of the product team
▪ Own Capex and Opex Management process
▪ Take each product team towards a FinOps model.
o Experimentation
▪ Keep track of all experiments
▪ Streamline sequencing and implementation of experiments.
What we’re looking for:
• 14+ years’ experience, minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management and another 5
in operations and experience in people management
• 7+ years of people management
• Strong business acumen
• Extremely process oriented person who brings strong focus towards optimization and
measurement.
• Strong communicator with great stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable with systems
