Job Summary:
The Enterprise Business Architect serves as the primary facilitator between functional department executives and IT staff at multiple levels in aligning strategic business objectives with IT investments and priorities. The Enterprise Business Architect is a member of the Enterprise Architecture team reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with key business and IT stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps that maximize value creation and ensure long-term success across the enterprise.
- Create/update business capability mappings and conduct business capability assessments.
- Work closely with the IT teams, such as Application Development, to address needs, challenges and opportunities that impact the business areas and the enterprise.
- Assist in preparing business cases including IT work definitions, ROI, assumptions and risks.
- Conduct and oversee gap analysis to determine business, capability, or system challenges and suggest appropriate changes to technology, staffing/skills, and/or processes.
- Support the business by facilitating the identification and management of vendors both new and existing. Responsibilities may include aiding in vendor/product selection.
- Contribute ideas and insights to shape operational goals of functional departments.
- Perform any other job duties as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in healthcare working directly with business/functional stakeholders
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Business Architect, IT Architect, or Business Analyst
- Proven experience with business process improvement and using enterprise or business architecture modeling tools and methodologies.

Travel:
- This position can work remotely with limited travel.
Compensation Range:
$108,600.00 - $190,000.00
